The Comedy of Errors Paper Topics

The Comedy of Errors Paper TopicsWhen Harry Ransom published his four part comedy of errors series, he set out to try and make a contemporary version of Shakespeare's play. However, as many people who have read the play will know, it is far too funny for any modern work to be able to truly emulate its originality. It is often pointed out that each of Shakespeare's plays, including Henry VI parts I and II and Hamlet, would be a very different piece of work today, without the reference to contemporary events that will often be included in Shakespeare's plays. On that basis, many people will ask if the theme of the play can ever be 'comedy of errors' when the play is written with the subject of history and the historical context already in place. However, it seems there is a different reason why an attempt at referencing current events does not translate well into a comedy of errors piece. The reason being that when one looks at Shakespeare's plays, most of them are written with research papers in mind. The subjects of Richard III and King Lear are certainly the type of research papers required by the stage play, while Coriolanus and As You Like It were obviously written for the classroom. However, the comedies of errors do not have that historical context in mind, and indeed even if they did, the results would be different. Of course, some people will argue that all plays are intended to be comedies of errors, and therefore even though the two theme poems did not have to be written as research papers, their themes are too similar to be separated. Still, the modern focus on research papers means that the show would need to be written with a heavy emphasis on the research paper topics if it is ever to be described as a 'comedy of errors'.Despite its difference in theme, the plays are often written with paper topics that are closely related to one another. For example, the play As You LikeIt was written after the campaign that was launched during the last election camp aign, but before the actual election itself, so the researchers could use the play to help build a case that 'Hamlet' was actually the actual father of King Claudius.Similarly, Richard III was written after the war of the Roses, but before the outbreak of the French Wars, so he needs to have a research paper topics relating to the Tudors and Stuart kings to ensure the historical context is known. This is so that even if Richard III and Coriolanus were ever included in the show, the circumstances surrounding their deaths would still be clear, as in the case of Richard III.Research papers are often a major component of paper topics in the school syllabus. The irony here is that the play, as opposed to an academic paper, would not have needed to be themed around such themes if it had been a play, as the key topics would have been familiar and well documented. The Comedy of Errors is something that should be enjoyable for its audience and entertaining for its audience. To many people, th e play will also remind them of the research paper experiences of the school years, which would certainly be a positive side effect.
